object ejected, unclear purpose

woke up choking
vomited into the sink — blood, bile, then
…something else

not a tooth
not a stone
it looked made
grey. ribbed. like a command folded into shape

it hummed once. then stopped.
I wrapped it in foil → it burned through
put it in a jar → it fogged the glass
buried it in the garden

neighbour’s dog found it
barked once
ran into traffic

i haven’t gone outside to look
