Smart Home Gone Wrong - My ONYXBONE Experience

Hi everyone! I'm not usually one to post about weird stuff online, but I'm genuinely freaked out and don't know where else to turn. My smart home has been acting... strange. Like, REALLY strange. 😰

It started a few days ago after I saw that BBC article about ONYXBONE. I thought it was just some internet hoax, but now I'm not so sure...

Timeline of Weirdness

April 24th, 9:30 AM
Asked Alexa for the weather forecast. Instead of the usual response, she said: "rullaq tassu xa† -vek" in this perfectly clear pronunciation. When I asked what she said, she gave me the normal weather report like nothing happened.

April 24th, 2:15 PM
Smart thermostat display started showing symbols instead of temperature. Looked like bone shapes arranged in geometric patterns. Took a photo but it came out as normal numbers - 21°C. The symbols were only visible when looking directly at the display.

April 25th, 6:45 AM
Ring doorbell sent me a motion alert. Footage showed my front porch, but there were these dark shadows moving across the ground in straight lines - like someone was walking, but no person visible. The shadows had this weird geometric shape, almost like... bone outlines?

THE REALLY SCARY PART - April 25th, 11:30 PM
😱 All my smart lights started pulsing in sync at exactly 11:30 PM. Not random flickering - a deliberate pattern. 3 pulses, pause, 3 pulses, pause. This went on for exactly 3 minutes and 30 seconds, then stopped. During the pulsing, I swear I could hear a low humming sound coming from inside the walls.

UPDATE - This Morning (April 26th)
😕 Woke up to find my smart fridge had ordered 12 bottles of calcium supplements and 6 bags of bone meal fertilizer from Tesco. I didn't order these! The purchase history shows the order was placed at exactly 2:47 AM while I was asleep. The delivery is scheduled for today.

What I've Tried

🔄 Factory reset all devices - symptoms returned within 24 hours

📱 Updated all firmware - no change

🌐 Checked router logs - no suspicious network activity

📞 Called tech support - they said everything looks normal on their end

🏠 Asked neighbors - they say their smart homes are acting "a bit weird" too

The Bone Meal Delivery

Just got the Tesco delivery. The driver looked confused and said this was the 8th delivery of bone meal and calcium supplements on my street this week. He asked if there was "some kind of gardening event" happening. 🤔

I checked - none of my neighbors actually ordered this stuff either. Their smart homes ordered it automatically, just like mine.

Current Status

Right Now - 7:30 PM
Smart doorbell just alerted me to "motion" but the footage shows bone meal bags arranging themselves into geometric patterns on my driveway. No wind. No people. Just the bags moving on their own into perfect triangular formations.

I'm staying at my sister's tonight. 😰

PLEASE HELP!
🆘 Has anyone else experienced this? Is this connected to that ONYXBONE thing from the news? Should I call the police? Disconnect everything? I'm genuinely scared that my house is... I don't know... infected?

UPDATE: Just tried to turn off the smart home hub remotely. Got an error message: "You are not required to remember. System integration in progress."

That's not a normal error message. 😨

Please comment if you've experienced anything similar. I feel like I'm going crazy, but the evidence is right there. Something is turning our connected homes into... something else.
